FORMER JUDSON UNIVERSITY PLAYER AND ALL-AMERICAN JOHN MITVICK BEATS INSPIRED PAUL CHOI TO WIN THE FIRST $350 ETA TOUR PRIZE MONEY TENNIS CIRCUIT MASTERS

John Mitvick, All-American while playing for Judson College wins the first ETA Tour Prize Money Tennis Circuit Master. The former college player beat a very inspired Paul Choi to capture the title.

“Tonight was a battle between physical power and talent” Gus Fernandes said, Director of the ETA Tour Singles Tournament Series. “We saw Mitvick using everything possible to outperform and inspired Paul Choi that had beaten his Judson University former doubles partner Elisha Houghland in the semis” Gus said.

This tournament brings excitement and talent back into the Chicago Area tennis world. The format for the tournament is round robin with Fast4 scoring. This means that each match is play to best of 4 games per set, 2 out of 3 sets to win with no-ad and service lets are played. This helps prepare the high-performance athletes for division one tennis where the rules are similar. “ETA Tour creates an environment where players have to function well under pressure and come out strong from the start of the match” the champion John Mittvick said.

Eola Tennis Academy is a high-performance training academy located in the suburbs of Chicago. The overarching goal of ETA is to prepare, train, and motivate high-performance juniors for college tennis.
